This page explains how to delete your Arcana Express account and what happens to your data when you do.
If you still have the app
This is the fastest way, and it takes effect immediately:
- Open Arcana Express and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation, then confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away. You do not need to contact us and you do not need to wait for a reply.
If you cannot open the app
If you have uninstalled the app, lost access to your device, or cannot sign in, email us and we will delete the account for you:

Send the message from the email address the account was registered with, so we can confirm the request is yours. If you cannot email from that address, tell us the registered address and we will ask you for something else that establishes the account is yours — we will not delete an account on an unverified request, because doing so would let anyone delete anyone else's.
We will action the request within 30 days and email you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your email address and password.
- Your display name, date of birth and gender.
- Your tarot readings, and any questions you asked with them.
- Your daily lucky cards, and every journal note you wrote with them.
- Your saved coloring artwork — the images themselves are removed from our storage, not just hidden.
- Your streak and activity history.
Your account is then blocked, so it can no longer be signed into.
What is kept, and why
Records of your purchases, credits and subscriptions are kept. We are legally required to keep transaction records for accounting and tax, and they are what lets us handle a refund or a chargeback after an account is gone.
These records are kept de-identified: the account they belong to no longer holds your name, your email address, your date of birth or anything you wrote in the app. What is left is a financial record, not a record of you.
How long: for as long as accounting and tax law requires us to keep transaction records — seven years in Sweden, which is the period Boreal Tech AB (a Swedish entity) operates under.
Important: deleting your account does not cancel a subscription
If you subscribed through Google Play, only Google Play can stop the payments. Deleting your account here does not cancel it, and you may keep being charged for an account that no longer exists.
Cancel the subscription in the Google Play Store first, then delete your account:
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select the Arcana Express subscription and tap Cancel subscription.
